I'm Cole Saseen. I invest in public equities with a concentrated, activist-minded approach, and I write here about how I think — markets, capital allocation, and the case for owning few things with conviction.
The method is top-down, then bottom-up: read the macro terrain, find the businesses that survive and compound through it, and size the handful where the crowd has the price wrong. I would rather hold cash than own something I cannot defend.
